Introduction, concepts of microwave & THz photonics, photonic components, photonic microwave signal generation and processing, external intensity & phase modulation, de-modulation, performance metrics, photonic synthesis of ultrabroadband arbitrary electromagnetic waveforms, sources of noise in fiber optic links, propagation effects, beam forming and beam management, FBGs for true-time delay beamforming, spectrum sharing, power allocation using reinforcement learning (RL) and deep RL, applications of THz photonics.
